MagLeaf
Project context
As part of my Industrial Product Design studies, I developed a storage furniture piece for Spinder Design. The challenge was to design a product that matched the brand’s existing collection while incorporating current furniture trends.

Approach
Using the IPO design process, I started with research into Spinder Design’s identity and analyzed interior design trends to identify relevant materials, forms, and functions. Through ideation, CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing, I developed a concept that reflects both the brand’s values and contemporary living styles.
Tools & Techniques
IPO design process
CAD modeling & technical drawings
Material research & production techniques
Full-scale prototyping in final materials
Outcome
Reflection
The result was a fully functional prototype made in real materials, supported by complete production drawings. I designed a magnetic coat rack, allowing users to hang their coats without hooks by simply placing them against the surface. For guests, special detachable hooks could be placed on the front when needed, offering a flexible and user-friendly solution.
This project taught me how to design within the framework of an existing brand, while still adding unique, innovative functionality. It also improved my CAD and production skills, giving me hands-on experience in turning design into reality.
